Industry Veteran Guyle McCuaig Joins Troy Dualam Inc. to Spearhead Dualaminate and FRP Initiatives
Brockville, Ontario — December 1st, 2023 — Troy Dualam Inc., a leader in FRP and Dualam corrosion equipment manufacturing, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Guyle McCuaig as Director of Business Development. With over four decades of experience in the design, fabrication, and standards development for Dualaminate and FRP equipment, Mr. McCuaig is set to lead Troy Dualam into a new era of innovation and excellence.
Mr. McCuaig brings a wealth of knowledge from his extensive career, which includes prominent roles at Dow Chemical, Teck Cominco Metals, CPF Dualam Inc, and ZCL Dualam Inc, where he served as Engineering Director, President, and CEO, specializing in thermoplastic and GRP materials for electrochemical services.
As a charter member of ASME RTP-1 M-12 Dualaminate Vessel appendix and a contributor to the AWS G.1.10 committee for thermoplastic welding, Mr. McCuaig has consistently been at the forefront of industry standards and best practices. He is also a 25-year member of NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers, AMPP Today) and has contributed numerous articles and papers on corrosion consulting.
Among his notable accomplishments, Mr. McCuaig authored the SME 2002 world program on Plastics in Hydrometallurgy and presented a groundbreaking NACE 2001 paper on Dual Laminates used in Chlor-alkali and Sodium Chlorate electrochemical processes.
In his new role as Director of Strategy and Business Development at Troy Dualam Inc, Mr. McCuaig will leverage his extensive experience to drive growth, innovation, and the development of cutting-edge solutions for the industry. His expertise in FRP and Dualaminate pipe and vessel consulting, standards writing, corrosion engineering, inspection, and design and fabrication will be invaluable assets to the company.
