Troy Dualam provides project-scoped FRP engineering and quality support for new FRP and dual-laminate equipment and for defined changes to existing equipment. Each engagement begins with agreed inputs, assumptions, responsibilities and deliverables.
Depending on the scope, support may include design-basis development, material-system evaluation, calculations, drawings or specifications, design review, fabrication support, quality records, and coordination of installation or commissioning requirements.
The work is defined around the equipment and its documented service conditions. It is not a generic promise of compliance, performance or service life.

A useful engineering scope starts with reliable project inputs. These typically include equipment function and geometry; process fluids and composition; normal, design and upset concentrations and temperatures; internal and external pressure or vacuum; cycles; specific gravity; solids or abrasion where applicable; connections, internals and supports; environmental loads; installation constraints; applicable specifications or codes; available drawings and records; and required engineering, testing and quality deliverables.
Missing or uncertain inputs are identified before the final scope is agreed. Where material information is incomplete, conflicting or outside published limits, manufacturer confirmation or another agreed engineering basis may be required.
Each project is reviewed against the specifications, design basis, codes, standards, jurisdictional requirements and acceptance criteria identified for that scope. No blanket compliance claim applies across all products, locations or services.
Engineering and Quality Activities Under One Defined Scope
For projects within Troy Dualam’s agreed scope, engineering and quality activities can be coordinated from design through fabrication. Depending on the project, this may include control of design inputs, review of calculations and drawings, documented material-system selection, fabrication checks, and records prepared against the agreed specifications.
Quality documentation may include a documented design basis, design-review records, fabrication drawings, inspection and test plans, manufacturing records and agreed traceability records. The exact document list, approval status, hold or witness points, acceptance criteria, test methods, third-party involvement, certification, professional authentication and turnover package are defined for each project.

- Applicable specifications, codes, jurisdictional requirements and acceptance criteria
- Available drawings, records, service history and current condition data for existing equipment
Possible project deliverables: a documented design basis, calculations, drawings or specifications, material-system documentation, design-review records, inspection and test plans, manufacturing records and agreed traceability documentation. The contract defines what is included.
Fabrication authorization note: Troy Dualam Inc. holds active ASME RTP Certificate of Authorization RTP-51 for shop fabrication at its Elizabethtown, Ontario facility of reinforced thermoset plastic corrosion-resistant vessels using hand lay-up and filament winding, including vessels with fabric and chemically bonded thermoplastic linings (Dual Laminate), within the scope stated on the certificate. This authorization applies only to eligible vessel fabrication under that certified scope; it is not an engineering credential or a blanket certification of all Troy Dualam products or services. Confirm the current listing through the official ASME certificate-holder search.
