Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support Troy Dualam’s continued growth across industrial and chemical markets. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting long-term strategic objectives.
This position requires a strong understanding of industrial markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with engineering and project teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within industrial and chemical sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners
- Support proposal development, bids, and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to align client needs with technical solutions
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and industry trends
- Represent Troy Dualam at meetings, trade shows, and industry events
- Meet and exceed sales targets and business development objectives
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of FRP, corrosion-resistant materials, or related industrial equipment is an asset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel as required
